Dress: Band of Gypsies
Shoes:Steve Madden
Shades: Ray-Ban
Fall is officially upon us! First day of fall was marked last Wednesday, September 23rd but seriously that doesn’t count when it comes to Miami’s year-round warm and sunny days. That’s why I could never go wrong wearing my summery floral trapeze dress that great for warm weather days. Trapeze dresses are my favorite to wear because of the flowy, light and airy feel it provides. For cold chilly weather they are great to pair with some solid colored tights, booties and a leather jacket. I was going for an effortless, comfortable look for an afternoon lunch and there’s nothing better than a comfortable stylish dress and cognac Steve Madden booties to pair with for a fall vibe in Miami. Enjoy, Love always!

Lace Bodycon Set

Set: Tobi
Shoes: Steve Madden
Lip: Nars
Hello dolls! I’ve been really busy since I became a mommy to a cute little dog named BO I adopted about a month ago. He’s sweet, funny, and mostly crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. In the midst of all the craziness with BO, my last two weeks have been quite eventful! Two of my longtime friends got engaged and of course that called for a celebration. For a Saturday night out in Miami, I decided to wear a two-piece lace set from Tobi that I borrowed from my best friend Karla. It’s great having a friend with the same size clothes and style (it’s like having two closets). I’m in love with this outfit because I’m obsessed with lace! People sometimes associate lace to dollies but that’s something from the past. Lace could really make an outfit pop in a crowd just like a bright color. I decided to keep it all black so I decided to pair it with strappy black sandals from Steve Madden and added a dark lip. Enjoy, Love always!

Islet

Hat: Urban Outfitters
Denim Shift Dress: Cooperative by Urban Outfitters
Sandals: Steve Madden

Hat: Urban Outfitters
Dress Shirt: New York & Company
Bikini: Victoria's Secret
Bag: Micheal Kors
This weekend was amazing because I got to enjoy a small getaway in the beautiful island of Marco Island, right off the Southwest of Florida.  It’s an hour and half drive from the fast-paced Miami life. I enjoy going to Marco Island because it’s so peaceful and mystical. It was really sunny so I wore my panama hat which goes great with any outfit. Being that we are still in the midst of summer I decided to wear my subtle denim sunflower shift dress which is so fun to wear in tropical places, and really easy to wear (and I also love sunflowers, it was a must buy). Shift dresses are usually great to throw on for an effortless look, they look great on any body shape because it doesn’t cinch at the waist and the A-line style tends to fit loose. To finish the look I added my new gold lace-up sandals which are so chic and great to complete any summer outfit. For the beach, I wore my reversible VS bikini and on top I added a plain white button down (I wanted something airy and easy to throw on top), my panama hat which was a must, and my Michael Kors tote that’s great for the beach because it fits about everything you need for a day out. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend staying at Marco Beach Ocean Resort great hospitality. Enjoy, Love always!

Current obsession right now are my new mid-waisted skinny jeans from topshop. They’re ripped right at the knees, soft to the touch, easy to wear and available in white too. My favorite part about wearing them is that they add a vintage edge to any top I pair them with. For my night look, I decided to pair them off with a simple backless black blouse and just added my clutch for a pop of print and end the look with my favorite dark red lip color from Nars. For an effortless day time look, I just wore my H&M basic scoop tee with my Henri Bendel 48’ beaded strand necklace (also worn in my night look, just folded twice) and brown booties for a day full of errands. These mid-waisted skinnies are also great to wear with any crops top for those like me that don’t like showing too much midriff. They’re just great with anything. Enjoy, Love Always!

Summer Trends

Set: Electric Boutique
Skirt: Electric Boutique
The 70s are coming back in full swing this summer. Fringe and prints are the must haves for the season and they’re so fun to wear and great pieces to infuse into any wardrobe. The printed sets are so effortless to wear, just add on some trendy jewelry and heels to finish the look. Of course there are other styling optioning for sets, you can always match the top or bottom with other solid combinations. I could talk forever about my favorite piece, the fringe skirt. It can transform and upgrade any top you choose to wear it with. I would opt to wear it with a simple solid top because the fringe has a lot of detailing, paired with some simple black strappy heels or black booties. Don’t let the trend intimidate you! It can also easily be worn as an accent. These trends are available in sandals, coats, bags, etc. Besides these two gotta-have outfits, there are also other great pieces that you can find at Electric Boutique. Follow on Instagram @electricboutique. Love always!

Happy Monday to all! I hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July Weekend. As for me, I’m exhausted. My weekend consisted of a lot of shopping, eating, patriotic themed cocktails, hanging out with friends and family, more eating, fireworks and of course . . . more eating. This weekend was all about celebrating this beautiful country’s Independence and what better to show my support and devotion than by wearing my USA inspired shirts and adding some red lips (there’s no better excuse). My shirts were both muscle tee shirts, I love them because they’re really easy to pair with just about any bottom and they’re also versatile (not just a gym shirt). For a more dressed up look just add your favorite heels and jacket to add some edge. I also spent some time at the beach with friends. I wore a high waisted printed bottom with a black mesh bandeau. With printed bikinis, I’m careful to wear the same top and bottom because sometimes it looks too heavy. For a more subtle look, I pair my trendy prints bikinis with a solid top or bottom.  Enjoy, love always!

BodyCO

Dress: Cefian
Shirt: LOFT
Shoes: Steve Madden
Sunglasses: Ray-ban
Hello! How hot has it been lately? The summer is officially here and what better way than to wear a dress and some sunnies to enjoy the beautiful weather. With that idea in mind, my best friend and I decided to have some brunch (we really do find any excuse to eat) and to add to that we did some serious shopping after. I decided to wear a gray backless bodycon dress and opted for a more casual look by adding some brown laced up sandals a chambray shirt to use as cover up when needed or also just to tie around my waist. Bodycon dresses can easily be used for day or evening wear it all depends on the shoes, and the accessories. The most important accessory when wearing a bodycon is body confidence, so don't be afraid to show what you got! Remember You're Beautiful.

Let's Shop Bendel

I was deleting my emails and I promise I was trying not to read or even glance at the emails where I know immediately I would be tempted to browse and end up buying a bunch of AMAZING stuff (I mean...I did get paid yesterday). Seriously, my eyes went directly to an email from Henri Bendel and of course they were having their 50% SUMMER SALE. Fast forward a couple of hours later of temptation, I ended up with an amazing snake print clutch (love at first sight). The clutch is versatile, convertible and could really sass up any outfit. Go browse the website, it's a sale you cannot miss! I promise you will leave your checkout with a handbag, jewelry, or at least with an scented candles.
Enjoy, Love Always!

Hi! I’m very excited to start this blog, it was something that I would talk about but never believe I would do. Finally I thought, while I figure out my niche in the healthcare field (Yes! I graduated but still feel lost in this CRAZY world) I thought I would do something on the side I really enjoy. Like most girls, I love dressing up and feeling pretty but not just pretty, I like feeling my best SELF, confident and beautiful. My personal style doesn’t consist of the latest trend or the most expensive outfits. It consist of what makes me feel good as a woman. For my first post, I’m taking it back to one of my best friend's birthday last weekend. It was so much fun catching up with my BFF and sharing laughs, and I also loved my wide legged pants and crop, perfect for a nice dinner and the outings that follow. Enjoy, Love Always!
